# Unpivot

> Turn columns into rows of variable and value.

The inverse of Pivot: turns `columns` into rows of a `variable` column and the column named in `values`, keeping `index` on each row.

## Parameters

### `values`

`string` · required · defaults to `"value"`

The name given to the column holding the values.

### `columns`

`string[]` · required · defaults to `[]`

The columns turned into rows.

### `index`

`string[]` · required · defaults to `[]`

The columns kept on every emitted row.
