# Dataset Source

> Read from a saved dataset in your workspace.

Reads a dataset, data view or upload already in the workspace and emits it as the flow's opening frame.

The rows arrive at the freshness the run pinned, so every module downstream of one source sees the same table even if the dataset is written to mid-run. `isLive` opts a reactive dashboard out of that pin and re-reads on each tick instead.

## Parameters

### `selectedDatasetId`

`string` · required · defaults to `""`

The dataset, data view or upload to read.

### `selectedDatasetName`

`string` · required · defaults to `""`

Its name when it was chosen, so the node can label itself without a fetch.

### `sourceKind`

`DatasetSourceKind` · optional

Which of the three the id names: a dataset, a saved data view, or a raw upload.

### `isLive`

`string` · optional · defaults to `null`

Set to re-read on every reactive tick instead of pinning the run's freshness.
