# Await

> Continue when all or any of the inputs have arrived.

A barrier: emits once `allOf` or `anyOf` its wired inputs have arrived. Only `a` and `b` are required, so a two-way join needs no third wire.

## Parameters

### `mode`

`"allOf" | "anyOf"` · required · defaults to `"allOf"`

Wait for every wired input, or for the first one to arrive.

## Inputs

| `on` | `event`  | no       | Implicit on every module that does not itself start a flow: wire an event here to make this module the start of what that event runs. |
| `a`  | `signal` | yes      | The first signal to wait on.                                                                                                          |
| `b`  | `signal` | yes      | The second.                                                                                                                           |
| `c`  | `signal` | no       | A third, if the barrier needs one.                                                                                                    |
